The astrology of 2025 has started out on a dramatic note with intense events occurring worldwide.

As we celebrate the first Full Moon of 2025, there is an emotional undercurrent that is intense, to say the least. 

The Full Wolf Moon occurs January 13th, 2025 @ 2:26 PM PST Conjunct Procyon Opposite Pavo, The Peacock @ 24º Cancer (Tropical); 29º Gemini (Sidereal). Be sure to let go of any stagnant emotions that come up and realign yourself with your highest timeline for the year ahead.

The effects of Full Moons last up to two weeks, sometimes longer if it is strongly aspecting your chart.

This lunation is very activating for Procyon Starseeds, one of the rarest starseeds out there, and you would be lucky to meet one. They come from Procyon A which is one of the brightest stars in the northern sky, located in Canis Minor, The Little Dog constellation. Procyons feel they are different and suffer from isolation, but they are also the best at helping others who feel different. They are often drawn to water and forests. While Procyon starseeds love nature, they are also very good at technology and play a major role in technological advancement and innovation. This Procyon Moon is a good time to practice grounding and integration of energy work and technology for the highest good for all.

Horoscopes for The January 2025 Full Moon - Read Your Sun, Moon, & Rising Signs for a more holistic interpretation:

ARIES: This Full Moon is squaring Aries placements and creating necessary tension between your feelings and behaviors. Watch your emotions and make sure you’re taking care of your emotional needs. Try to focus on past issues that have left an impact on you emotionally, but you haven’t worked on yet. This would be the time to dig deeper and work on better innerstanding and releasing some of what’s left behind. Free yourself internally so you can move through the rest of year without all that unnecessary emotional baggage.

TAURUS: This Full Moon is making a harmonious sextile to Taurus placements, but you still need to watch your words, and be careful with what you say. If you find yourself lashing out and getting into fights, this is likely because you’re being triggered by something emotionally and/or subconsciously. Work to get to the heart of it, and try to make some progress. You may need to give your mind a healthy outlet as well.

GEMINI: Stubbornness may get the better of you, and you may dig yourself into a deeper hole as a result of refusing to budge an inch. Try to open up to some movement forward, and get to the heart of why you don’t want to move at all. Something might be making you feel insecure, and tackling this insecurity is important for growth.

CANCER: You have been hit the hardest with this Full Moon AND Mars Retrograde both in your sign, Cancer, and you can be deep in your feels and quick to lash out. It might feel like everyone is against you, but this is likely perception and not reality. You need to work on an issue from the past, something to dig into that has been a problem and you know it. Face it.

LEO: Your subconscious motivations and desires can become much more obvious to you, and you might be a little mortified by what you realize. It’s okay to wish you’d reacted differently in the past if you learn from it now. Don’t get in your own way and be your own worst enemy in this moment. Reflect, understand, and release. VIRGO: This Full Moon is in harmonious sextile to Virgo placements, making you really want to take action on the new new, but Mars is still retrograde until February 23rd, so you gotta pace yourself. If there’s anything in your life where you feel you’re being held back and boxed in, you can lash out in a big way. This is an excellent period for getting yourself out of a longstanding rut, however impulsive behavior can get you in trouble, so try to avoid that. Be smart about the actions you take to get more independence and make changes happen.

LIBRA: This Full Moon is squaring your Libra placements creating necessary tension for you to manifest what you truly desire in 2025. It might feel like you’ve been working really hard for a really long time, pushing up the mountain to achieve what you want, but you’re stalled, blocked, or go backward a little. Try not to be disheartened by that. There might be something you missed that needs your attention. Stay focused and disciplined and smart, and you’ll stay on track.

SCORPIO: This Full Moon is in harmonious trine to your Scorpio placements. Getting more space might seem like the most important thing for you, especially if you’ve been overwhelmed by responsibility or held back in your life lately. But there can be frustration over not having enough space, or you push too far too fast. Be responsible about how you get space, and consider taking small steps instead of big leaps.

SAGITTARIUS: This energy might dig up something you’d rather avoid, and likely have avoided for a long time. You’ve shoved it away, and you don’t want to deal. It’s important that you do face it though, otherwise this energy might lead to extreme problems and manifestations for you that you absolutely don’t want. Find some courage and get digging.

CAPRICORN: This Full Moon is squaring your Capricorn placements and other people might be the source of your problems, and it might seem like you’re spending way too much time tending to their problems instead of your own, so balance is needed. Existing issues in relationships can also seem stronger, and you may want to break away. Try to avoid doing anything drastic until you’ve had a chance to think and talk.

AQUARIUS: Stress might be all-time high for you, and you can be worried about something, everything, big and small. This can be overwhelming, and you might get sick, have aches and pains, and feel rundown. Healthy outlets for stress are super important for you with this energy, and maybe taking some things off your to do list.

PISCES: This Full Moon is in trine to your Pisces placements, which means you are moving through emotions more smoothly than others. Having fun and letting loose might be all you want to do, and you may lack focus on work and the mundane. If you can get a break, go for it, but if you can’t, you have to be creative, otherwise nothing gets done. Old love issues might also come out, and this can make you more dramatic than usual. Work on what’s being triggered.
